Rag & Bone the NYC-based clothing brand best known for its intensely urban aesthetic—is objectively cool. From perfectly distressed denim to slightly oversized tees and expertly tailored leather jackets, there’s nothing the brand can’t tweak to fit its minimal, modern feel. And that includes critically acclaimed space opera/never-ending film franchise Star Wars.
Unlike your Halloween-style Darth Vadar mask or Storm Trooper suit, the collection—which will be available at Rag & Bone stores, rag-bone.com, and shopdisney.com—is inspired by the films’ themes and general vibe, instead of directly recreating the costume design.
The collection consists of T-shirts, sweatshirts, and accessories, and it’s offered in a muted color palette familiar to both the brand and the franchise—blacks, whites, and tans. There were only 100 units of each piece made, so you’ll have to be quick to score.
Although there have been many Star Wars-inspired clothes and accessories (see: Justin Trudeau’s Chewbacca socks), this is the first collection that feels truly style-first. The sweaters, jackets, and sneakers look distinctly Rag & Bone upon initial inspection. It’s not until you take a closer look that you see the outerworld detailing, like the utility-esque tracksuit, and the X-wing-inspired graphic tee. Finally, something the fashion and extraterrestrial world can agree on.
